The incredibly rich apple-cream flavor of this pie will not leave anyone indifferent.
INGREDIENTS
- 75 gr. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 50 ml. milk
- 60 gr. butter
- 0,5 kg. firm green apples
- 1 egg
- 1 raw egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 125 gr. granulated sugar
- 25 gr. peeled walnuts
- 25 gr. peeled pine nuts
- 60 gr. dried figs
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
for sprinkles:
- 25 gr. peeled pine nuts
- 0.5 tsp. cinnamon
- 25 gr. sugar
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
Peel and core the apples and cut into slices.
Immediately sprinkle them with lemon juice, so that they do not darken.
Add grated lemon zest.
Finely chop dried figs and mix with apples.
Mix the granulated sugar, egg and raw egg yolk and beat with a mixer until the sugar dissolves (5-7 minutes).
Then add the softened butter and milk and mix.
Mix and sift the flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder.
Add to the egg mixture and knead the dough.
Stir in the apples, figs and nuts.
Place the dough in a greased cake tin, sprinkled with pine nuts, sugar and cinnamon. (diameter – 22 cm)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 gr. – 45-50 minutes.
