While it might seem like a multitude of ingredients, the process is remarkably simple.

  • Seasonings: Worcestershire, Lawrys, Salt, Pepper, and Hamburger Seasoning.

Ingredients:

Hamburger

  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon Hamburger Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Mushroom Swiss Sauce

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick / 113 g) butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) beef broth
  • 1/4 cup (61.25 g) milk
  • 1/2 cup (56.5 g) Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Seasoned Butter

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick / 57 g) butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Sliders

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Hamburger:

  • In a small bowl, mix seasoned salt, hamburger seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add oil, onions, and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Add Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle with seasoning mixture.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until no pink remains. Remove from heat and drain.

Mushroom Swiss Sauce:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook for 5-10 minutes. Add beef broth and milk.
  • Reduce heat and slowly add cheese. Whisk constantly until melted.
  • Add cooked hamburger, stirring to combine.

Seasoned Butter:

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic salt, and sesame seeds. Set aside.

Sliders:

  • Split rolls in half and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  • Add 6 slices of Swiss cheese, followed by the hamburger mixture, and another layer of 6 slices of Swiss cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the buns and brush with the melted butter mixture.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes (or until the tops turn golden brown).
  • Remove from the oven, slice, and serve.
