Indulge in two layers of pure delight with this Ultimate Oreo Brownie Layered Dessert. Featuring my favorite fudgy brownie base and a mouthwatering Oreo topping, this dessert is sure to make your taste buds dance! If you’re a brownie enthusiast, don’t miss out on my homemade brownie mix recipe.

Ultimate Oreo Brownie Layered Dessert

Perfection in every bite. This decadent Oreo Brownie Dessert utilizes an entire package of Oreos! I opted for the family size, but using a regular size works just as well. You might have fewer Oreos sprinkled on top, but that’s not a problem since there are plenty of Oreos baked into the brownies and mixed into the topping!

How to Make Fudgy Brownies

When baking brownies in a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) pan, this is my go-to recipe. It’s thick, rich, and consistently turns out perfectly. Prepare your pan by spraying it with non-stick spray or using GOOP.

Combine your ingredients and bake in the prepared pan. Once baked, set the brownies aside to cool to room temperature. While they’re cooling, prepare the Oreo topping. Avoid adding the topping to warm brownies, as it will melt and become messy (though still delicious)!

How to Make the Oreo Topping

Also known as Oreo Fluff, this topping is incredibly delicious. It’s a sweet sensation with no healthy ingredients in sight—a true sugar explosion that no one can resist!

Gather your ingredients (full recipe is in the recipe card below):

  • Cream cheese – ensure it’s at room temperature.
  • Sweetened condensed milk – one 14-ounce (396 g) can works perfectly.
  • Whipped topping – I used store-bought, but homemade works too.
  • Oreos – I prefer my Oreo topping to have larger pieces, so I don’t crush them too finely.

Combine the first two ingredients in a stand mixer or using a hand-held mixer. Beat until light and fully incorporated. Then, fold in the whipped topping by hand. Finally, add the crushed Oreos and stir gently. Now you’re ready to assemble your dessert!

How to Assemble the Oreo Brownie Dessert

  1. Prepare your brownies: Bake them in a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) pan and allow them to cool to room temperature.
  2. Prepare the Oreo topping: It should spread easily over the brownies. Use a small offset spatula to smooth it out evenly.
  3. Sprinkle additional crumbled Oreos over the top.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until you’re ready to enjoy.

Instructions

Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with non-stick spray or GOOP.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, dark cocoa powder, baking powder, and kosher salt until fully combined.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer or a large bowl using a hand-held mixer, beat the eggs, granulated sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. With the mixer off, add the dry ingredient mixture. Turn the mixer on low and mix until the ingredients are well combined.
  5. Fold in the 16 roughly broken Oreos.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F (175°C). The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with crumbs but no wet batter.

  2. Remove the bowl from the mixer and fold in the whipped topping by hand.
