Ingredients:

  • beets, 500 g;
  • carrots, 300 g;
  • onions, 350 gr
  • soy sauce, 4 tablespoons;
  • vegetable oil, 100 g;
  • vinegar or apple 9%, 2 tablespoons;
  • sugar, 2 tablespoons;
  • spices, salt.

Instructions:

Choose dark and dense beets. Such a vegetable will be sweet and juicy.

Grate beets and carrots on a grater for Korean carrots.

Mix them, sprinkle with sugar and set aside until the beets begin to secrete juice.

Onion chop in small pieces.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden and hot pour it over the beets and carrots.

Quickly and vigorously mix the vegetables – under the influence of hot, the beets will not then crisp.

Pour the salad with soy sauce, vinegar, sprinkle spices to taste, stir.

Try whether the salad is salty enough, if not then salt.

Cover the container with a lid and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

I usually make this kind of salad spicy and add hot peppers, garlic, different aromatic herbs for vegetables. But if someone doesn’t like spicy dishes, you can leave out the hot peppers and garlic.
