Original dish made of pita bread, zucchini, minced meat and a tasty sauce.
- pita, 2 pcs;
- zucchini, 2 pcs;
- any minced meat, 500 g;
- onion, 2 pcs;
- garlic, 2 cloves;
- breadcrumbs, 5 tablespoons;
- salt, pepper, spices;
- Egg, 1 pc.
To prepare the sauce you need:
- Eggs, 3 pcs;
- kefir, 250 ml;
- milk, 150 ml;
- cheese, 50 gr;
- salt, pepper, spices.
Mix the minced meat with chopped onion, egg, salt and pepper, chopped garlic, breadcrumbs and chopped herbs.
Tip: If you do not have breadcrumbs, take white bread or loaf. You can use any greens you like.
Mix stuffing until homogeneous. Put it in the fridge.
Zucchini cut lengthwise into thin slices and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown.
Put zucchini on the edge of pita, stuffing on it. Now roll up a very tight roll.
Cut the roll into small pieces – 3 – 4 cm in length.
Place them vertically (stuffed side down) in the baking dish.
Salt, pepper and whisk the eggs, then pour in the kefir, stir and pour in the milk.
Pour the sauce over the pita.
Bake at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle with grated cheese and bake again for about 10 minutes.
