One of the easiest cake recipes that even a novice cook can make. Take any jam or cake cream as a filling or topping.
- eggs, 2 pcs;
- sugar, 6 tbsp;
- melted butter, 100 g4
- sour cream, 250 gr;
- pinch of salt;
- baking powder, 15 g; flour
- flour, 230 g;
- jam, apricots or dried fruits.
Mix melted butter with salt and sugar, knead the mass until homogeneous.
Add eggs and beat the mixture with a whisk.
Add the ricotta or sour cream and knead until homogeneous.
Add sifted flour with baking powder and knead a thick dough.
Cover a baking dish with parchment, spread the dough and smooth it out.
On top you can lay pieces of dried fruit or slices of ripe apricots, berries.
Bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
After the cake has cooled down, brush the top with apricot jam or other jam of your choice.
To make it even tastier, you can top the jam with a topping of whipped thick sour cream and powdered sugar or pour melted chocolate over it.
The cake is very puffy, moist, and tender, and you can even cut it into two layers and form a cake with different fillings.
