A simple pita dish with cottage cheese filling – delicious, flavorful, nourishing. Take any amount of products.
Ingredients:
- pita, 1 pc;
- cottage cheese filling, 180 gr;
- milk, 2 tbsp;
- Egg, 1 pc.
Instructions:
The curd mass you can take any to your taste or make your own from cottage cheese of any fat content, beating with a blender with dried apricots, raisins or prunes with the addition of vanilla. You can just mix the cottage cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla or even chocolate chips, coconut, etc.
Beat the eggs with a fork and add the milk, you can also add a pinch of sugar. Whisk until homogeneous.
If you take briquettes of curd mass, cut it into 4 parts – bars.
Cut a sheet of pita into 8 pieces (this is in my case, I have a large pita, you should look at the size of your pita, how many pieces is better to cut) and each piece of cottage cheese we wrap the pita roll, wrapping the edges.
Dip the rolls in the egg and fry both sides until golden brown. This process takes 1 minute on each side.
Tip: You can take as a filling both salty and sweet products – you get the rolls with different fillings to your liking.
