Ingredients (8 servings)
- Puff pastry 1 pc
- Butter 50 г
- Sugar 40 г
- Bananas 2 pcs.
Instructions
Cut bananas into about 0.5 centimeter-thick slices. It is better to take not over-ripe bananas, without blemishes, to make the pie. If the bananas are overripe, they may start to fall apart when caramelized.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the sugar and wait for it to dissolve. The sugar does not need to be mixed with the butter, just spread it evenly on the bottom of the pan.
Spread the bananas in a pan and caramelize them for 2 to 3 minutes. Wait for the bananas to cool slightly.
Take the puff pastry out of the freezer beforehand. Roll out the dough a little. Cut out the dough to a slightly larger size than the mold.
Cover the form with baking paper, carefully put the banana slices on the bottom and pour the remaining caramel on top. Be very careful when placing the bananas, because they will be on top of the pie.
Place the dough on the bananas and press a little around the edges. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cake in it for about 40 minutes.
Let the cake cool slightly and take it out of the mold. Bon appetit!
