Homemade canned pumpkin "Estonian Pineapple" with oranges

Ingredients

  • pumpkin, 1.5 kg;
  • sugar, 300 gr;
  • citric acid, 7 g;
  • oranges, 2 pcs;
  • half lemon.

Instructions

Peel pumpkin and cut into pieces.

Pour boiling water over orange and lemon for 40 seconds and cut into cubes without peeling.

Mix the pumpkin with the citrus, citric acid and sugar.

Stir and leave for 4 hours. During this time, periodically stir the mass.

Spread the mass in sterilized jars, seal and pour the juice, cover with lids.

We put jars in a pan on a towel, pour water in jars up to a bend and sterilize from the moment of boiling for 20 minutes.

Screw the lids on, turn the jars, and wrap until cool.
