- ½ pound (225 grams) fresh asparagus
- 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.
- Rinse the asparagus and trim off the woody end pieces (or snap as shown in the picture above).
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus, then sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper. Using tongs, toss the asparagus to coat evenly. Spread the asparagus back out into an even layer.
