Cooked in the oven, lazy cabbage rolls in a flavorful and sour-sweet sauce, get juicy, fragrant, extra tasty, with light creamy notes.
Ingredients for the stuffed cabbage rolls:
- pork and beef 500 g each,
- cabbage 500 g;
- onions, 300 g;
- carrots, 200 g;
- boiled rice, 350 g;
- salt, pepper, coriander;
- butter, 100 g;
- vegetable oil, 20 gr.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- tomatoes, 200 g;
- sour cream, 200 gr;
- carrots and onions, 100 gr;
- salt, pepper, sugar pinch.
Ground meat can be taken any way you like, but from different types of meat.
Finely chop cabbage, grate carrot, chop onion.
Fry the onions in butter, add the carrots and cabbage, stew until tender, and sprinkle with spices at the end of cooking.
Take out the vegetables on a large platter and leave to cool.
If you took the meat, then cut off all excess and turn it into mince, which dress with chopped onions, salt and spices. Just do not forget that you also salted the vegetables.
Mix minced meat, cooled boiled rice and vegetables.
Form patties and put them in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil.
For sauce, finely grate carrots and chop onion, stew in oil, add grated tomatoes, stew for another 5 minutes.
Add sour cream, stir and the sauce is ready.
Spread the sauce on the cutlets and put them in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees С.
These patties are no different from the classic stuffed cabbage rolls, the same juiciness and flavor. The sauce for baking can be made to your liking, just keep in mind that the cutlets will absorb some of it.
