Original fritters made with canned peas can be served for breakfast, lunch, used as a snack and taken with you on a picnic.
Ingredients:
- Canned peas 1 can (do not drain the marinade from the can);
- one egg, 1 pc;
- flour, about 200 gr;
- salt.
Instructions:
Pour the liquid from canned peas into a bowl and mix with egg.
Salt to taste, add peas, mix.
Sift flour and add in a mass in portions.
The batter should be thick, like pancakes, so you may need a little more flour. You may need a little more flour, but it depends on the situation.
Leave the dough for 5 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil and put a tablespoon of batter.
Fry on a low heat on both sides until brown.
I put them on paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
I serve these “pancakes” with sour cream mixed with chopped dill, and other different sauces.
