Do you love donuts? But do you rarely try to cook it because it is unhealthy and very high in calories? This recipe is especially for you! Donuts turn out to be lush, really airy and just melt in your mouth.
For 12 donuts you need:
- cottage cheese (it is better to use homemade) – 250 gr.
- flour – 220 gr.
- egg – 1 pc.
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
- sour cream 1 tbsp.
- vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- baking powder 1 tsp
- salt on the tip of a knife
- icing sugar and jam optional
Instructions:
Mix the egg, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Add sour cream and cottage cheese and mix well with a whisk until smooth. Then add 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of baking powder and move once more.
Then add the rest of the flour in portions, the dough should be smooth, soft and not sticky to your hands.
Roll the dough and cut it into 12 equal parts.
Form balls from each piece. Then cut a hole in the center of each piece of dough. This can be done using a pastry nozzle.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out our donuts, grease with warm milk. Send it to a preheated oven up to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Finished donuts can be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Optionally you can fill with jam or condensed milk. But even without all this, they are very tasty.
Bon Appetit!
Hi there, reading the recipe, I’m confused when you mentioned, “flour from whole mass, … leaven and move once more.” What does that mean? Also, there is oil in the list of ingredients, but I do not see in the directions where you use it. Thank you 🙂
